Gaming can become an addiction. That being said, rarely should it ever come to that. Unfortunately, this Russian man, lost just about everything over his insane Fallout 4 addiction. So much so that he is suing Bethesda, the company that developed Fallout 4, over his life absorbing addiction. Wait, what?
Apparently, the man, unnamed, saw the advertisement for the game. He was impressed with what he saw and decided to give the franchise a try. His first few hours, ultimately turned into almost three weeks of non-stop gaming. The addiction required him to miss a few days of work, work that he was inevitably fired from. Not only that but his wife left him, he was unable to consistently eat and his health crashed as well.
“If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it. I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays,” the man said in a statement.
This is not the first time games have become an addiction to people but never has it got to the point where a person sues a company for said addiction. The man is seeking out almost seven thousand dollars in damages for his life altering addiction.
Hey folks, it is just a game! Not worth losing your time over. What do you guys think of this? Any game worth losing your life over?
